Promotional banners

You cannot get a more cost-effective signage option than the traditional banner. Banners are highly versatile, available in made to measure and they work for you 24/7.

It is no problem for us to create custom banners in all shapes, sizes, and materials (including flame retardant materials). It is so affordable to use a banner when promoting your business, event or to convey a special message. Whether you need it for a temporary signage solution or for longer term use you cannot go wrong.

G S Signs & Graphics can create a ready-made design and print your banner to order using a wide variety of banner types. The most popular options include:

  • roller banners / pull-up banners are a stand-alone, self-supporting advertising display. The banner itself is made from a strip of material and has a well laid out message printed on it and very simple graphics and logos too. As the name suggests, the banner can be easily rolled or pulled up when not in use and it is easy to store. They are also highly portable, making them easy to transport or to travel with.
  • outdoor PVC banners, also referred to as vinyl, is a durable full colour printed advertising option. The banner is printed to a high-quality finish on a thicker UV resistant 550 gsm material which does not fade, making it perfect for outdoor weather conditions.
  • mesh banners. These banners are used outside and are printed on heavy-duty fabric with very small holes to allow wind to pass through. They are printed on one side only using abrasion-resistant inks. There is the option for double-sided by sewing two mesh banners together.
  • scaffold banners come in a range of standard sizes, but they can also be made to measure. Metal eyelets in each corner and open-ended sleeves for scaffold poles are key features of scaffold banners.
  • event and exhibition banners are often custom-made as no two events are exactly the same. Everything from a simple backdrop to a pop-up exhibition stand with a sturdy frame and useful storage cases can be created to help your business shine at any trade show event.
  • heras fence banners are useful for hiding less attractive areas or to provide privacy whilst advertising your brand or events to maximum effect. This banner type is a smaller version of fence screens. They can be referred to as fence netting or fence panel covers and are usually a full cover print on a PVC mesh material.
  • mesh banners are typically created using a gauze type material which has thousands of holes per square metre. The choice of fabric helps reduce the sail effect that is often found with standard banners as wind can pass through the small holes and easily disperse.
  • projecting banners are printed on both sides to create a display to catch the eye. They are secured both top and bottom using strong springs to provide tension. Pedestrians and traffic passing in both directions will easily be able to see any message applied to a projecting banner.
  • fence banners are designed with durability in mind to be placed on various fence types. Sometimes referred to as fence wraps or fence windscreens, fence banners can create a unique display to promote your business using a quality outdoor mesh or a scrim vinyl.
  • X-banners takes the form of an X shape. It is a low-cost indoor promotional solution made from a strong and durable plastic. Many retail spaces, showrooms and even exhibition sites will find this banner type very useful.
  • L-banners uses a clip frame to hold the banner in position and is kept in an upright position with help from a tension system. Its popularity is due to the low cost, simple installation, and the ease of replacing graphic banners as needed.

The versatility of the banner allows for many different uses such as events, conferences, exhibitions, the retail industry, the hospitality industry and more besides. A well-constructed and effectively designed banner is efficient on space, and it can be re-used and re-located too.

Many other specialist banner types are possible so if you don’t see an option that suits, we would love to hear your ideas and see how we can help you create a more unique banner style.
